From notable English show and working lines, Pixie came to us in February of 2009, bringing diversity to Fieldday's breeding programme.

Pixie is both raciness and soundness. She represents the breed well with her beautiful moulded head and soft expression, most correct front assembly, excellent body length with strong topline and rear and, of course, that forever wagging tail. She loves the ring and is a remarkable mover, covering ground efficiently and effortlessly.

Pixie has provided me with so many thrilling moments. Tops were winning, at barely 6 months, her Sweepstakes and Regular classes at the FCRSA’s 2009 National Specialty and, the following year at 20 months, winning the FCR Society of Alberta’s Regional Specialty in an entry nearing 100.

Fast forward to May 2018, after years of leisure at home, Pixie attended the FCRSA’s National Specialty. Happy to be back in the spotlight, she won her Sweepstakes class and took 2nd in the Veteran’s 9-11 class.

At 11 years of age, Pixie is still quite the go-getter too and certainly has not lost any of her spunkiness. We are so very proud of our regal girl and of her progeny, of which a Best in Specialty and a Best of Opposite in Specialty.
